This Kansas City homeowner had a vision: a collection of custom glass-blown light fixtures, handcrafted by an artist, installed throughout the kitchen and dining room to create a space that was both functional and genuinely beautiful. Bringing that vision to life required more than standard electrical work.
Pure Light Electric worked closely with the homeowner from the start — understanding the fixtures, the design intent, and the lighting mood they wanted to achieve. We installed all necessary circuits, designed and wired a custom dimming system for each zone, and hung every fixture with care. In the bathroom, we added LED upgrades to match the quality of light throughout the home.

Custom glass-blown fixtures are irreplaceable. They require precise installation heights, correct circuit loads, and compatible dimming — and they have to look perfect when they're done. The homeowner had invested significantly in these pieces, and the electrical work needed to match that level of care.
Detailed planning and hands-on collaboration.
Before a single wire was run, we reviewed the fixture specs, ceiling heights, and the homeowner's vision for each space. We designed a dimming system that let each zone — kitchen pendants, dining chandelier, bathroom vanity — be controlled independently. Every fixture was installed cleanly, with proper support and no visible hardware, exactly matching the intended look.
